My violin teacher always used to tell me, “Talent is God’s gift to us. What we do with that talent is our gift to God.” Being involved in the parish is one way to share that talent. We have many ministries which need new members. Consider talking to someone in charge and prayerfully consider joining.

 

I would like to invite you especially to consider joining the choir. Some people are given the gift of singing. Your voice can add so much to our choir. We have a very small number of singers (only 7). We lost two members this summer to a move and we often lose military members who join us while they are stationed at Ft. Sill. A parish this size should have a much larger choir! It is difficult when someone is sick or traveling as some parts simply are not covered.

 

If you are shy, do not be afraid! You are never alone in choir. If you would like extra time working on the music, I am happy to meet with you during the week to practice. I also send out recordings each week with individual parts so that everyone can prepare. Singing is also scientifically proven to improve your health! So it is a blessing for you AND for the parish.

 

If you have a high voice, we have a place for you! If you have a low voice, we have a place for you too! Everyone can find a place in the choir. Please talk to Cyndee for more information.
