Most people believe that Christianity first came to what is now the United States with the Protestant “Pilgrims” on the Mayflower in 1620. In reality Christianity came to the area of the United States in 1520. The early Christians of this country were Hispanic Catholics who came from old Mexico to what is now New Mexico. The first non-native peoples settled near modern day Espanola, NM and later moved to what is now the city of Santa Fe, NM. This city was named La Villa Real de la Santa Fe de San Francisco de Asis (“The Royal Town of the Holy Faith of St. Francis of Assisi).

Fr. Phil Seeton and Fr. Ray Ackerman invite you to join us on pilgrimage to this city where Catholicism was first planted and grew in the United States. Visit the holy places in the beautiful state of New Mexico. There will be opportunities to pray in ancient churches, visit shrines, shop, learn about New Mexican culture, eat amazing food and do all of this with great people!

Daily prayer will be offered in each shrine or church. Includes round trip air conditioned motor coach from Lawton, hotel accommodations at Coyote South in Santa Fe, New Mexico, daily breakfast, and admission to scheduled activities. Meals are not included.
