O Lord, I do not know what to ask of You
or even what to pray for.
You alone know what my true needs are.
I am filled with anxiety and worry.

 

I do not know what to do.
I know this is not what you desire for me
and that fear does not come from You.

O God who loves us all,
only You know my struggles and my suffering
and only you can heal me.

Come to me,
give me Your life and Your hope
so that I can serve you without fear and constant worry.

God of many mercies,
be my help and my strength,
show me how to live and overcome my anxiety.
Forgive any sin that I may have committed
since you do not desire that I suffer
but that I live with You and with all in peace.

May Your peace,
which surpasses all understanding
guard my heart and mind
in Christ Jesus with whom you are blessed,
together with your all holy, good and life creating Spirit,
now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
